World Sailing International Umpires Seminar

Match Racing Antibes (AMRA) is hosting a World Sailing International Umpires Seminar in Antibes, France, from October 11 to 16, 2016.

The seminar will be held in conjunction with a Grade 3 Match Racing event (October 14-16): Trophée Lionell Van Der Houwen n°2.

Morning Afternoon
Tuesday 11 10h to 12h30: classroom 13h30 to 17h: classroom
Wednesday 12 9h to 12h30: classroom 14h to 17h: classroom
Thursday 13 9h to 12h: classroom 14h: on-the-water practice crew and umpires
Friday 14 to Sunday 16 on-the-water umpiring (event)

Leaving the venue is possible from Sunday 18h.

Rules

The seminar will be using the Test Rules for Match Racing 2016. You can download the package from World Sailing’s website.

It will also be using the World Sailing standard Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions for 2016. These include rules changes as well – see NoR 7 / SI 1.
